Office of the Chief Financial Officer for COVID-19 Alternate Care Facility – CW Financial & Management Group served as the Office of the Chief Financial Officer for the MetroSouth Alternate Care Facility (MSACF) located just outside of the City of Chicago’s southern border. This 477-bed facility served to decompress emergency rooms in and around the City of Chicago with high levels of COVID-19 positive patients. CWFMG’s owner, Craig Williams, served as on the Executive Team at the facility. CWFMG’s duties included Supply Chain Management, accounting systems, revenue cycle management, Medicaid/Medicare/Private Insurance billing, budgeting, and procurement.
Advanced Pay – The State of Illinois awarded over $31 million in grant funds to over 80 grantees from increased revenues due to the legalization of marijuana. CW Financial & Management Group reviewed the financial systems and controls of each grantee to ensure compliance with all state and federal grant requirements prior to awards.
U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs
Wastewater Treatment Plant Study – CW Financial & Management Group completed a cost-benefit analysis and associated report and recommended the best direction for the wastewater plant managed by the Veterans Healthcare Center located in Canandaigua, NY.
Employee Assistance Programs – CW Financial & Management Group manages Employee Assistance Programs (EAP) for the Miami VA Healthcare System, Columbia VA Healthcare System, and the Northern Indiana VA Healthcare System. In total, there are over 8,000 employees and their families eligible to participate in the program. The program offers short-term counseling, toll-free number with 24/7 access, and referrals services for financial and legal matters.
Business Consultant – CW Financial & Management Group reviewed the State’s procurement practices and recommended improvements to allow for increased participation by business owned by women, minorities and persons with disabilities.
